Upcoming Auditions

Actor’s Theatre of Charlotte will be holding auditions for THE LIEUTENANT OF INISHMORE, a riotous dark comedy written by Martin McDonagh (The Beauty Queen of Leenane and The Pillowman). Auditions are by appointment only and will be held on Monday, June 16th from 6:00pm to 9:00pm and Tuesday, June 17th from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at the theatre located at 650 E. Stonewall Street. Director Chip Decker will be auditioning for both equity and non-equity roles. Please prepare a 1 to 2 minute comedic monologue, using your best Irish accent. Also, be prepared to read from the script. Bring a current headshot and resume. Rehearsals begin in mid-August 2008, and performances run September 19 – October 11, 2008.

All roles available:
7 Men:  aged anywhere between 17 and 65.  All body types.
1 Woman: aged (or looks) between 16-24.
